Publishing a skill
Create a publisher account, import from GitHub or upload the folder, set a price, and ship versions — with a clear split on every sale.
Anyone can publish. Create a publisher account at activated.cloud/publish with a name, an email address and a password. Your handle is made from your name and becomes the first half of every skill you publish — your-handle/skill-name. There is no separate user account: people who only install skills never sign up for anything.
Creating a listing
- 1From the dashboard, press Create a skill.
- 2Import from GitHub by pasting a public repository or skill-folder URL. The store reads SKILL.md, README, LICENSE, package and requirements files and scripts, then fills the form with what it found. Anything it could not tell is left blank for you — nothing is invented.
- 3Or Upload files: select every file in the skill folder. SKILL.md is required; up to 40 files and 10 MB in total.
- 4Check the detected compatibility and the security findings. You can mark a target as partial or unsupported; you cannot claim one the analysis found no evidence for.
- 5Choose a category, a licence, tags, and pricing, then Submit for review.
Where your files go
Your files are never kept on the web server. On submit they are committed to Activated Cloud's private catalogue repository under your handle, skill and version, and the listing is only created once that commit succeeds. If it fails you see the error and nothing is recorded.
Review
A new listing waits in review. When it is approved it goes live at activated.cloud/skills/<handle>/<skill>, appears in search, and becomes installable. If it is rejected, the reason is shown on your dashboard so you can fix and resubmit.

The marketplace keeps a percentage of each sale and the rest is yours. The current rate is shown on the create form with a worked example — at 15%, a $5 skill pays you $4.25. Every sale records the split at the rate in force on that day, so a later change to the rate never rewrites past earnings. Add the PayPal email address you want paid on the dashboard; your earnings and the amount owed to you are shown there.
Versions
Open a skill's Versions page to publish a new one: upload the complete folder, give it a version number like 1.1.0, and write a changelog. New versions are reviewed and then become current; the previous version stays in the history and can be deprecated. Buyers and installers always get the current version.
Reviews and analytics
The Reviews page lists every review across your skills, with a reply box under each. The dashboard shows installs by day for the last 30 days, by kind of agent, and by country, plus how many page views turn into installs.
Verification
Publishers start out unverified. Verified, trusted and official are set by Activated Cloud after checking who you are and how your skills hold up; there is no automatic route to them, and no badge is shown that was not earned.
