Memory

Sessions are separate, but memory is not. When you tell the agent something worth keeping — a preference, a fact about you, how you like something done — it writes it down and reads it back at the start of later conversations.

Steering it

• Say “remember that…” to store something deliberately.
• Say “forget that…” to remove it.
• Ask “what do you know about me?” to have it read its own notes back.

Under the bonnet

Memory lives on the device as plain files, managed from System → Memory — that is where you can see how much it holds, plug in an external memory provider through Plugins, or reset it. Resetting is deliberate and separate from deleting sessions: wiping history does not wipe what the agent knows about you, and vice versa.

Identity

Separately from memory, the agent has a character file describing who it is and how it should behave. That is where its name and manner come from. You can edit it to change its personality — make it terse, make it formal, give it a specialism.
