What it is for

It keeps going overnight
Hand over the long jobs before bed and they run while you sleep. Nothing stops because a laptop was closed, because you went out, or because it is the weekend.
It stays in the room
Your team, your accounts, your files, on a shelf in your own home. It is the same workforce you already have, not a second one — this is simply where it lives when you are not at a desk.
There is nothing to look after
No screen, no buttons, nothing to check on it, and it makes no noise. You notice it the way you notice the router: only if you go looking for it.
The face
The same colleague on your screenand on your shelf.
The face on the front is the face your agent wears in the app. It is the only thing the Mini Cloud says out of hours: four states, legible from the other side of a dark room, and nothing to unlock to see them.
Idle
Nothing is happening and nothing is asking for you. The light is almost off.
Listening
You are talking. The eyes open and the light moves with your voice.
Thinking
It has the job, and it is working out which of your tools to use.
Speaking
It answers out loud, and by then the work is already running.
On the shelf
Small enough to put down and leave.
Ninety millimetres across and about seventy grams, in a matte finish that does not catch the light. It takes up less room than the books beside it, and there is no fan in it, so the only way you know it is working is that the face is awake.
Off the shelf
It runs for the evening without a cable.
Eight to twelve hours on a charge, and USB-C when it needs one. Take it into the kitchen, take it to the studio, take it to someone else’s house — it keeps the same workforce running wherever you put it down.
